Old Fashioned Banana Nut Bread Recipe

If you interested in an amazing bread recipe, this is a great one for you! Everyone enjoys good banana nut bread, if they don't its because there allergic. I feel very sorry for the people who can't enjoy this incredible bread, it's my families favorite and mine as well. This recipe is extremely easy and fast to make, so get started on making your soon-to-be famous bread. This recipe was my great great grandmothers, it's been in my family for a very long time, I wanted to share this with all of you. I really hope you enjoy this simple and easy recipe! Ingredients:
3/4 cup of butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of mashed bananas (3 medium size)
2 eggs ( well beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups of sifted flour
1 tsp. of baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup of buttermilk
3/4 cups of nuts (chopped)
Directions:
First cream butter and sugar until smooth. Blend in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together. Add to banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Please be patient in mixing! The more you mix the better it will taste I promise you. Add nuts; mix. Pour batter into greased and floured 9X5X3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 and 10 minutes or until done.
TIP: To check if done; stick a toothpick into your bread and if it comes out clean your bread is done! Thanks for cooking with kayyluh I hope you enjoyed it!
